Despite the team’s struggles, Mohammad Rizwan has been a standout performer, scoring 284 runs in just four innings at an impressive average of 71 and a strike rate of 159. Ben Geddes has offered solid support, racking up 143 runs from two matches at a strike rate of 158. However, the rest of the batting unit hasn’t quite fired. Michael Bracewell is the only lower-order batter to make a significant impact, blasting 60 runs at a striking rate of 222.

Players like Shai Hope, Kamran Ghulam, and Iftikhar Ahmed have the potential but are yet to find their rhythm.

Bowling has been another area of concern. MS has conceded over 200 runs in both of their games so far. Usama Mir has been the lone bright spot with two wickets and an economy rate under 8. These back-to-back losses haven’t just left them anchored at the bottom of the table, but their net run rate has also taken a massive blow, plummeting to -4.550.

If PZ don’t turn things around soon, their campaign could quickly spiral out of reach.

Mohammad Haris has been the lone bright spark with the bat, scoring 100 runs across two matches at a blistering strike rate of 181.81. Saim Ayub missed out in the last game but showed his class with a stylish fifty in the opener. Expectations will be high for him to bounce back with a solid score this time around.

Hussain Talat and Mitchell Owen have made useful contributions and will need to step up again. Tom Kohler-Cadmore hasn’t found form yet, but he’s a reliable batter and could be due for a big knock.
