KK vs LQ (Match – 6) – Highlights

Lahore Qalandars put on an outstanding display in the 6th match of the Pakistan Super League 2025, held in Karachi on April 15. Batting first, they posted a commanding total of 201/6, with Fakhar Zaman leading the charge, scoring a brilliant 76 off 47 balls, which earned him the Player of the Match award. Karachi Kings, in response, struggled and were bowled out for just 136 in 19.1 overs, giving Lahore a convincing 65-run victory. The result showcased Lahore’s all-around strength and provided them with solid momentum early in the tournament.

Fakhar Zaman set the tone for Lahore with a superb knock of 76 from 47 balls, including 6 fours and 5 sixes, at a strike rate of 161.70 before falling to Hasan Ali. Daryl Mitchell played a key role as well, smashing 75 off 41 balls, with 9 fours and 2 sixes. Mohammad Naeem added 7 off 5, and Abdullah Shafique contributed 6 off 9, both falling to Hasan Ali, who claimed three wickets. Sam Billings played a quick cameo, scoring 19 from 10 balls, with 2 fours and a six, before being dismissed by Hasan. Sikandar Raza remained unbeaten on 10 off 5, and Rishad Hossain was run out for 2. Lahore’s collective effort, along with some extras, allowed them to set a daunting target of 202.

Karachi Kings’ bowling attack had a tough time containing Lahore’s batters. Hasan Ali was the standout bowler, taking 4 wickets for 28 runs in his 4 overs, with an economy rate of 7.00 and 13 dot balls. Adam Milne was economical, conceding 31 runs in his 4 overs, though he didn’t take a wicket. Abbas Afridi struggled, giving up 47 runs while picking up just 1 wicket. The other bowlers, Fawad Ali, Khushdil Shah, and Arafat Minhas, were expensive, conceding 30, 36, and 26 runs, respectively. Despite Hasan Ali’s efforts, Lahore posted a formidable total.

During the chase, Karachi’s top order faltered. Tim Seifert made 18 off 22 balls, but couldn’t build on it, and Shan Masood added 18 off 14. Irfan Khan scored just 6, while Arafat Minhas was dismissed for a duck, leaving Karachi in trouble. Khushdil Shah fought back with a solid 39 from 27 balls, hitting 4 fours and 2 sixes, while Hasan Ali contributed 27 off 25. Adam Milne added 16 off 7 balls, but it wasn’t enough to prevent the defeat. Rishad Hossain was the top bowler for Lahore, claiming 3 wickets, while Shaheen Afridi also took 3 crucial wickets. Sikandar Raza chipped in with 2 wickets, helping Lahore seal a 65-run victory.

For Lahore Qalandars, Shaheen Shah Afridi was the standout bowler, taking 3 wickets for 34 runs in his 4 overs, with an economy rate of 8.50. Zaman Khan bowled a tight spell, giving away only 16 runs in 3 overs, at an impressive economy of 5.33. Asif Afridi picked up 1 wicket for 21 runs in 2 overs, with an economy rate of 10.50. MI vs SRH Outfield Report

Cricket Prediction | MI vs SRH | IPL 2025 | 33rd Match | April 17 – Can Either MI or SRH Revive Their Playoff Hopes with a Much-Needed Win? Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai

The Wankhede pitch is renowned for producing high-scoring games, thanks to its true bounce that favors stroke play. Batters thrive playing through the line, making it a paradise for shot-makers. While pacers may find it challenging, spinners could come into play during the middle overs with some turn on offer. Under the lights, another run-fest is likely on the cards.

The weather in Mumbai on April 17 is expected to be warm and humid, with temperatures around 31°C at the start of the match. There’s no rain forecasted, and a light breeze is anticipated in the evening.

Wankhede has witnessed first-innings scores crossing 200 frequently in the recent past. A good score batting first would be in the range of 190–210, while teams chasing have found success due to dew and shorter boundaries. Anything under 180 could be tough to defend here.
